What I usually assess
- Opportunity: whether demand, supply gap and the reason to invest are real.
- Audience and use case: who is more willing to pay and in which situation.
- Value proposition: whether product features become customer-relevant outcomes.
- Packaging and price signal: whether material, naming, imagery and comparisons support the intended price.
- Market fit: whether local habits, purchase logic and category references align.
- Priority: which change comes first, or whether to pause and reassess.
How an engagement works
1. Evidence before the session
Product images or links, current and target price, channels, target market, packaging or product page, competitor references and the three questions you most need answered.
2. Focused diagnosis
We separate known facts, assumptions and open validation questions across opportunity, audience, value, price signal, localization and risk.
3. A clear conclusion
Depending on scope, the output may be a direction decision, structured diagnosis, risk list, priorities or staged action recommendations. The exact scope is agreed before work begins.
Good fit and poor fit
Good fit: there is a product, sample, supply chain, budget or defined category direction, and the team is willing to revisit product and value assumptions.
Poor fit: the only need is basic platform training, advertising, store management, final design artwork, or a guarantee of sales and profit.
Frequently asked questions
What should I prepare?
At minimum: the product, price band, target audience, current channel, target market and current bottleneck.
Do you create final packaging artwork?
No. I assess problems and direction in packaging, materials, naming and price signal, but do not replace the final visual designer.
Do you guarantee sales?
No. The engagement provides judgement, risks and action priorities, not guarantees of platform ranking, sales or profit.
Start with the product, not a generic method.
Share the category, stage, price band, target market and current bottleneck. I will first assess whether the project is a fit.
